Sport’s Illustrated Swimsuit Issue is Keeping Our Beaches Beautiful

Sport’s Illustrated chose Apalachicola, Florida as the site of one of its photo shoots for this year’s swimsuit issue. And they’re doing more than showing hot girls in bikinis, the magazine partnered with Gilt Group to present a collection of swimsuits for sale for the “Keep our Beaches Beautiful” campaign, the proceeds of which benefits the Nature Conservancy’s. (For anyone who has forgotten, the Gulf Coast area was ravaged by the BP oil spill two years ago.) 100 percent of the purchase price goes to the Nature Conservancy’s efforts to preserve the world’s beaches and oceans.
