Review: Clarisonic Pedi

Who doesn’t love a pampering pedi? But if you’re like me, you don’t always have time to hit the nail salon. It can be particularly challenging when you’re running around getting ready for a trip or in the winter when you have to wait for your toes to dry more fully before slipping on boots.

The solution just may be the new Clarisonic Pedi Foot Transformation System. It uses Clarisonic’s signature sonic technology to make the most challenging part of any pedi—the smoothing away of dead dry skin—simple. It comes with two heads, one is a wet/dry brush that can be used daily, and a Smoothing Disc that does the heavy lifting that is recommended for use twice a week. It’s a metal file that buffs away calluses like nobody’s business.

The system also comes with Pedi-Buff, a chemical scrub with lactic acid, apricot seed and a tri-fruit complex to be used with the wet dry brush, Pedi-Balm, a moisturizer that is non-greasy (key for those busy mornings!) blend of shea butter, honey and apricot oil and Pedi-Boost, a serious boost of lactic and glycolic acid that’s idea for the dry tops of feet.

I’ve been using the Clarisonic Pedi Foot Transformation System for a little over a month now. While it doesn’t take the place of a salon pedicure, my feet are beyond a doubt in better shape. I no longer have the major calluses on my big toes and the tops of my feet no longer look like they belong to an 80-year old man. It is perfect for winter when feet tend to be drier and you don’t have to keep up with polish as much. Makes a great Christmas gift, too!

The Clarisonic Pedi Sonic Foot Transformation System is $199 and is available at, Sephora, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Dillard’s.
