I’ve been on a bit of a laser kick lately—I’ve started to fixate on my broken capillaries and brown spots. While the laser IS good at zapping the red marks on my face, the brown spots are pretty stubborn. I was excited to learn about the new Peter Thomas Roth Laser-Free skin care line. The products are made with Dragon’s Blood, which though it sounds like it’s straight out of Harry Potter, is actually a resin from the Amazon’s Croton Lechleri tree.
I’ve become a fan of the Laser-Free Resurfacer. It doesn’t purport to reduce the appearance of brown spots, but in 3 weeks of use, I have noticed that my skin is brighter overall. In addition to the Dragon’s Blood, which helps reduce inflammation and speed healing, the serum also includes ingredients to rebuild the skin’s natural lipid barriers and help restore collagen and elastin production.
The line also includes a Laser-Free Resurfacing Eye Serum, Laser-Free Retextruizer Efolixating Scrub and a Laser-Free Regenerator Moisturizing Gel Cream.
All the products are available at Sephora.
